History
It all started in Madrid in 2016 with an original idea of the hotelier Gonzalo de la Mata to create "a no-nonsense hotel", maximizing the square meter but without giving up qualities and services that's why we don't believe in hotel categories, we believe in the product.
Vision
SLEEP'N was born out of a desire to offer a new experience to the modern traveller where sustainability and people are at the centre. We wanted to strip away everything unnecessary that hotels include, from overpriced mini-bars to pointless services (bellboys or concierge) that ultimately drive up the price of the room and focus on the authenticity of what really matters; sleeping in the best bed, having the best shower and the best breakfast with uncomplicated technology and 5* staff.
SLEEP'N is made up of a group of professionals who have worked in hotel management, the financial sector and legal consultancy.
With a great accumulated experience, developing their professional careers in banks, Ibex companies and large hotel chains such as AC or Vincci Hoteles.
The first SLEEP'N has 80 rooms and enjoys a magnificent location opposite the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, and opened in March 2016.
The hotel has undergone a thorough refurbishment to reflect a new image.
Professional and efficient management has allowed us to achieve solid operating results since the beginning of its management.
We are Carbon Neutral since 2019 and the first BCorp accommodation in Spain.
